RESUMES
When applying for an internship, a job, a scholarship, or graduate school, the person considering your application will be interested in your experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Your resume is your first impression and the first example of your writing abilities that a prospective employer may see.
Rarely would your resume alone get you an offer. Generally, employers scan resumes to identify candidates to talk to further.
Getting Started
Writing an effective, attention-grabbing resume that also includes keywords requires careful thought and planning. A particularly effective resume will be tailored and targeted for each opportunity to which you apply. It’s important to work with our office to help you market your skills and experiences.
You can access all of our resume materials on Canvas, or you can contact careers@principia.edu to set up an appointment or to email your resume for review.
