We are often asked, what's the big secret to finding jobs and internships? Ther are a few key things that are crucial to your success!

1. Make sure you have an updated resume with keywords.  Don't use templates from the internet. Before you start, or if you already have a resume, email it to careers@principia.edu so we can make sure your resume will get you the results you want.

3. Continue to grow your network.  This is done in many ways and we suggest you have a conversation with us so we can strategize with you. One of the best ways is with LinkedIn.  Check out this video. 

4. You want to think about these questions as you explore the possibilities.

Ask yourself:

• What is my dream job? Who can I talk to who is doing this right now?
• What’s my current career goal?
• What skills will I need to get there?
• Where do I see myself after graduation?
• Do I need or want to earn academic credit for my internship?
• Will I be able to pay the tuition for that credit?
• Do I need to earn money while interning? How much?
• Do I need to live at home, at school, or elsewhere while I intern?
• Can I intern during the school year or just the summer break?
• What is an online internship? Can I really intern online?
