Between the search box and the results list is a pin labeled “save query” - this saves searches for future use. Just make sure you’re logged in first, or it won't save!
When you click the pin, a banner will pop up across the top of the screen asking if you’d like to turn on notifications for this query - you can enter your email address and the system will email you any time new items are added that meet that search criteria. The popup disappears after a few seconds, but if you miss it, there is another way to get notifications.
Once you’ve saved a query (or two or ten), you can access them by clicking the "My Favorites" pin at the top right of the page.
It will take you to your saved items and searches, along with your search history. Click the “saved searches” tab and some notification options appear beside each saved query. You can set an rss feed or an email alert for that query, or there’s also an option to remove that search from your favorites list.
