In order to be culturally responsive teachers, we need to understand Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP) developed by Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings. CRP addresses the need for the educator to become aware of their own cultural pedagogy and expand their understanding of the social and cultural contexts of their students.
