In JSTOR, linking is done with "stable URLs" that are located on the article record. The stable URL is a direct link to the article.
Here is an example from the JSTOR article record of where to find the stable URL.
You will need to add the ezproxy prefix http://ezproxy.prin.edu:2048/login?url= before the URL if you want to ensure off-campus/remote access.
Example: http://ezproxy.prin.edu:2048/login?url=http://www.jstor.org/stable/27638525
