Evaluating News Sources

 

When determining whether a particular news source is appropriate to cite in your paper, be sure to consider:

  • Reliability - is the paper reporting accurately and checking its facts?
  • Bias - to what extent does the reporter's/publisher's views impact their reporting of the news?
