I have items checked out. What if the due date is before I can return to campus?
The answer will depend on where you borrowed the item from. Please see the specific details below:
- Materials from the Marshall Brooks Library – You will not be charged overdue fines. You may now return the items to us in the bookdrop outside the front door of the library.
- Materials obtained through I-Share – You will not be charged overdue fines for I-Share books. You may now return the items to us and we will return them to the lending library.
- Material obtained through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) - If you have ILL materials with you off campus, we will be in touch with you directly to provide updated information.
Will I-Share and ILL continue?
- ILL Article requests will be fulfilled for all patrons via email, subject to availability. Some libraries remain closed and therefore this service may be limited.
- I-Share and Principia College library requests have been enabled in our Catalog with contactless pickup in the library entry way.
- Request items after they are processed may be picked up during the hours the library is open.
