Florence Aptaker saw something special in everyone, and she connected with people from all walks of life. Her belief in the potential within each person made her a source of inspiration and encouragement.
Florence was generous with her words and actions, whether she was volunteering at a Christian Science Reading Room, comforting a friend in need, or being kind to a stranger. Her favorite saying was “Love is like a potbelly stove; it warms everyone around it.”
As a lifelong Christian Scientist, Florence loved what Principia stood for. Her son, Bob (C'82), is a graduate of Principia College.
